  1. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? Each case is different. The type of case you have and the complexity of the issues greatly affects how long the case will take from start to finish. Consted divorces and modifications of custody are generally the longest cases and can take several months to over a year. There are a few, very limited circumstances when a divorce can be finalized in three months or less.
  2. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? It is difficult to determine how much a case will cost due to the variety of factors which affect the cost of a case, including but not limited to, the parties ability to negotiate, the complexity of the issues and teh responsivenss and cooperation of the other party. Generally, this firm asks for a retainer fee up front at the beginning of the case. The retainer fee is not an indicator as to the final cost of the case. In most circumstances the case will be more expensive than the retainer fee. Litigation is almost always more expensive that reaching a settlement through negotiation.
